Made this video in July 2018. You don't need no lathe if you learn to cut tips with simple tools like the box cutter. Lathe just makes it faster but you get more satisfaction by doing it manually with these simple tools (not dedicated tip tools). Enjoy the video! I'm using a cheap jump cue (KF Cues) made in Taiwan. Installed a Taom v1.0 jump/break tip, it allows more cue ball control than harder j/b tips like phenolic or G-10 tip.
